Santee Councilmember Ronn Hall Endorses Randy Voepel for State Assembly

(Santee) – Santee Councilmember Ronn Hall has endorsed Mayor Randy Voepel for the 71st Assembly District.
“There is no doubt that Santee has made tremendous progress over the past 15 years,” said Hall. “And it’s clear that the leadership of Randy Voepel has been critical to that success. Santee is a model for how conservative policies can be effective at a local level. Low taxes, pro-business policies, and a limited government have all served Santee residents well, and I know Randy will be a strong voice in the Assembly.”

“Ronn Hall intimately understands Santee and is deeply connected to this community,” said Voepel. “To have his support in this race is an honor, as he symbolizes the best of what our wonderful city has to offer. His support at this early time is another strong showing of momentum for my campaign.”
Ronn Hall was elected to the Santee City Council in November of 2014. He is also a member of the Republican Party of San Diego County Central Committee.
Councilmember Ronn Hall joins Assemblymember Brian Jones and El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells among the initial team of early endorsers.
Originally elected to the Santee City Council in 1996, Voepel was elected Mayor in 2000. Voepel is a U.S. Navy veteran with two combat tours of duty in Vietnam. A graduate from Saint Leo University, he is a businessman in financial services specializing in corporate benefits. He and his wife Susan have two children and three grandchildren.
